Guam is a U.S. Territory located in the Marianas Islands of the Pacific Ocean.  It is where "America's Day Begins".  Guam is approximately 16 hours ahead of Pacific Time (3:00 pm 3/1/01 California = 9:00 am 3/2/01 Guam).  Guam is approxiately 30 miles long and 15 miles wide (at its widest) with a population of around 150,000 people.  The Chamorros make up the majority of the population with a sprinkling of Asians and military personnel.  The major industry on Guam is Tourism.  Please see the pictures below to appreciate the beauty Guam has to offer both above and below the ocean:
